Erin Boyes - Actor

Erin BoyesErin moved from Vancouver, BC to Delaware at the age of 5, where her parents enrolled her in acting and modeling classes in Philadelphia. After graduating from an arts school, Erin continued to study acting in Philadelphia, interning at casting agencies and teaching at acting summer camps, in exchange for classes and workshops. During this time she attended college, majoring in Science and Psychology, as well as cheerleading competitively throughout the east coast.

Erin decided to pursue acting full time and traveled to Philadelphia and New York, where she gained experience modeling and acting in film and television. Erin has moved back to her favourite city, Vancouver, to pursue acting and continue her psychology degree. She's been fortunate enough to have studied with such teachers as Nathaniel Deveaux, Stellina Rusich, Larry Moss, the Lyric School and the Actors Foundry. You can catch her in the feature film Married Life alongside Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson, Rachel McAdams, and Pierce Brosnan, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Goblin and Asphault Canyons. She's also worked in numerous independent films, such as the wrestling mockumentary Kayfabe, short films and commercials.

What interests Erin more than anything in her work is being able to break the mold of small and sweet. Through her work on the Bloodshots 48 Hour Film projects, Soylent Red (which won Best Death and Viewers Choice) and Afterbirth, she got a taste for the element of surprise.

Her next work was on the stage in the Vancouver Premiere of Adam Rapp’s Off- Broadway smash RED LIGHT WINTER, with David Richmond-Peck, Jonathan Holmes and directed by Kelly-Ruth Mercier. She is grateful to everyone that has worked with her, and looks forward to the work ahead!
